I had my London flat on the open market with numerous traditional estate agents for several months and, despite plenty of viewings, there was very little genuine interest and no meaningful offers. The process became incredibly disheartening — particularly as I didn’t always feel that agents were being fully transparent with me about the realities of the market or what was realistically achievable for the property. At my sister’s suggestion, I began exploring the option of working with a cash buying broker, which is how I came across Gaffsy. From the outset, Oren Kander impressed me with his open, honest and pragmatic view of both the property and the wider market. There was no fluff or over-promising — just clear communication and realistic advice. Oren worked tirelessly to source the right cash buyer at a fair price, ultimately achieving a successful sale with a two-week completion, which was a huge relief after such a long and frustrating experience on the open market. Throughout the process, he kept me well informed and managed expectations professionally and transparently. I’m really pleased with the outcome and would absolutely recommend that anyone struggling to sell a more complex or troublesome property reaches out to Gaffsy to explore their options. Oren — thank you!

If your looking for 70 to 75% of market value on a perfect property get in touch if you have more sense and are not completely desperate I suggest you don't waste your time. Others are more realaitic on offers These rates are for taking advantage of desperate sellers to make them big profits overnight.

My experience with Gaffsy has been a very unpleasant one. My flat is currently on the market for £200k - reduced from £220k in order to sell quicker, but still it’s been taking a while, so we decided to reach out to cash buying companies. Gaffsy (represented by Ben) initially offered us £160k, which was 80% of the asking price, but we were willing to accept for the sake of quick sale. In order for them to get a better insight of the flat I sent Ben a series of videos of various features of the flat, including a walk-through of the whole flat. There were also photos and the floor plan available on the estate agents’ website. Ben than announced he needed to see the flat for himself before confirming the final offer – not a problem, he was provided with all the details how to get into the flat (which is vacant). He then stated he could not do the visit himself, but someone else will attend and take photos for him – again, not a problem. I asked how reliable the initial offer for the flat was. In his email, IN WRITING, Ben stated: “As there is no formal survey, any adjustment would only be considered following this initial inspection and only if something material came to light that had not been previously disclosed”. He then called me a few days later, stating that “he did not realise my flat had a lowered ceiling”, and “he thought it would be like my neighbours flat, so he got confused (?)”, and then he announced that he would have to offer me a “slightly lower” price - £120k (that’s 60% of the original asking price, and £40k below the initial offer). Clearly, I declined. I found it really staggering how blatantly Ben expected me to believe that having seen: - The walk-through video of the flat - Other videos of distinctive features - Photos on the estate agents’ website - Floor plan on the estate agents’ website with clearly marked lowered ceiling areas … apparently it still took him by surprise that my flat had a lowered ceiling in some parts, to the point he felt compelled to take another 25% off the already reduced offer. That despite his previous assurances in writing that only something “material” and ”undisclosed” would change the initial offer. How exactly does one of the most prominent features of the flat can count as “undisclosed”? I don’t know what he meant by the reference to my neighbour’s flat, but if he in fact had ever bothered to look at the next door flat for some reason, he would have realised that it was mirroring my own flat, including the lowered ceilings, so his lie was unnecessary and completely obvious as a lie. The whole situation felt like he just came up with a nonsensical excuse to lower the initial offer to the max to see if we were desperate enough to take it. Fortunately, we were not. Effectively, my dealings with Gaffsy left me with the impression of being dishonest, luring us in with an acceptable offer, and then the price being lowered apparently because of an obvious feature, despite written (and verbal) assurances it would not happen. They did not even have enough respect to try to come up with a slightly more believable excuse, so desperate were they to give us a bad offer (60%). Altogether, a very negative experience.

The staff were helpful and pleasant, and always available to speak to. If we ever missed a call, they returned it promptly. They made a very good offer on the property, which would have made the transaction extremely straightforward. We ultimately decided not to proceed for personal reasons, and not due to anything on their part. Quite the opposite. When we informed them of our decision, Ben was empathetic and completely understanding. We would certainly recommend Gaffsy as a genuine and helpful company, and they would be our first choice should we decide to sell a property in the future.

Gaffsy keep their word! During the stressful time of selling our property, Gaffsy were empathetic (massive thanks to Daniel for being understanding and informative), contactable, professional and straightforward. Oren was often in contact with us throughout the process, and the sale of our property went how he said it would. Me and my partner were selling with the aim to move abroad, and Gaffsy allowed us to make this possible. If you want a reliable company, that do what they say on the tin, then i have to recommend them! Thank you again to the whole team and everyone involved.

I feel it’s important to leave honest reviews and our experience with Gaffsy hasn’t been great. We dealt with a staff member called Benjamin and I’ll be honest that he didn’t offer us what we thought was reasonable, okay that happens and is rightly their prerogative to do so. The reason for the review isn’t that it’s the way in which they did so. Benjamin emailed to say he had tried ringing me and that he couldn’t get through, he then followed up again saying he had tried ringing and I hadn’t answered again, both of which were simply not true. Anyway I replied and mentioned this to which he replied saying of course I had no records of his calls because he hadn’t actually called me and the emails were all automated. That really to me seems quite an odd way of starting to do business with someone to claim you’ve tried ringing them and then to then admit you didn’t. Benjamin anyway made a few claims that were on the edge of being quite spurious. He confidently stated he knew ours was the last flat to be sold in our building, which was interesting when considering the three flats sold after us. Now okay, I’ll cut him some slack, that’s just a bit sloppy research and we can all be guilty of that, my main issue was his strong opinion that every other offer we had received was somehow far to inflated and we should choose his £65,000 pound less offer over a direct competitor who was offering only £10,000 less than asking. Credit to him for trying to get the proverbial wool over our eyes but, surely even he could recognise asking for £38,000 less than what we brought it for (in building that has attracted high resale values) was probably going to be a bit too low. Anyway, it’s their right to try and knock it down but the way and I quote Benjamin said “Based on this information, I am very pleased to present our offer: £200,000” it was just a bit insulting. Maybe acknowledging your quite far of others offers but then push your own praises but he didn’t, he instead challenged the legitimacy of all other firms and buyers which made me feel he was possibly insecure of his own offer. Anyway, my main take away was they are a young team, smaller cash offers than their bigger competitors and so if your property is below £200,000 it might be worth it but if you have anything above that use one of their competitors. I think they also are relying on data that is outdated which probably means they are not really evaluating properties and their sale/resale history. Obviously, if they had they would have seen the most recent flat in our building sold 2 months ago for £345,000. The process is also highly automated as earlier stated, they didn’t want to chat on the phone which in hindsight was probably a red flag as we’ve had direct conversations with all of their direct competitors. Anyway listen, sometimes you don’t get the offer you want which is okay, anyone using this type of service should expect that but the communication is heavily automated at Gaffsy and their is an underlying tone that actively tries to disparage the direct information and experiences you’ve had, and they don’t utilise some of the information sources they could that would enable them to see sale and resale prices in buildings. Now, I suspect Benjamin is newer and probably as we head towards the end of the week not that on it but, for us, we’ve got a pretty good picture from using 3 independent estate agents valuations and 4 quick sale companies on what’s a reasonable fast purchase price and this one is smaller and different to all of the rest by about £36,000. Most of the competitors typically range from around 15-10% below market value but this firm went for around 24% which simply means you’re better of going elsewhere.

When another 'quick-buy' firm shockingly cut their offer by £22k just before exchange, I walked away furious and rang Gaffsy on a friend’s tip. They honoured their first offer, covered my legal costs and completed in three weeks. Orent was brilliant, kept me in the loop every couple of mornings, so I always knew what was going on. The whole experience was fast, straightforward, and completely transparent. Thanks guys, for saving the entire chain!

Oren Kander has demonstrated professionalism from the initiation to the conclusion of the garage sale, exhibiting helpfulness, honesty, and thoughtfulness, while ensuring that progress remains on course throughout the process. I have nothing but positive things to say about him since he makes the entire process go smoothly and you know you're in good hands the whole time. He'll give you a reasonable price for your property in contrast to the market price, and he'll also pay your solicitor's fees. I highly recommend getting in touch if you have a garage or property for sale.

Wanted to say we had a good experience with Gaffsy for the sale of our garage. Also to say a big thank you to Oren who was very helpful guiding us through this sale, if any problems arose, as we had on our side, one phone call to Oren and he sorted it out straight away. Would highly recommend Gaffsy for their 5 star service.

I wanted to sell so land that I'd bought during covid and a bad relationship. Gaffsy sold it for me for more than I expected and without me having to go back the the area (it's 5 hours away from me and I have a 9 month old, honestly the lack of involvement needed from me was the best part!). I'm really quite surprised it all actually happened as it's been a stress in the back of my mind for 3 years and just so happy I can move forward from it. Would definitely recommend to someone in my position.
